The Miss Universe Organization has reaffirmed its corporate authority, official communications channels and executive leadership, identifying Nawat Itsaragrisil as chief executive officer of Miss Universe Eastern, Monil Hathi as managing director and Pavan Misra as director of broadcast and sales.
In an advisory published on missuniverse.com, the organization said its website and verified global platforms are the exclusive authentic digital properties and official voice of the Miss Universe brand.
MUO said external websites claiming administrative authority, changes in ownership or the ability to issue directives on behalf of Miss Universe are unauthorized and do not have legal standing to represent or bind the organization.
The advisory was addressed to MUO’s global partners, national directors, licensees, broadcasters and members of the media as the organization seeks to clarify the leadership structure and official channels for commercial and institutional communications.
Nawat, founder and president of Miss Grand International, was appointed chief executive officer of Miss Universe Eastern on July 31. MUO said he leads operations and development across 95 participating countries and works with senior management on the organization’s international growth.
In its latest statement, MUO rejected external claims characterizing Nawat’s role as only that of a national license holder. The organization said those assertions do not reflect its corporate resolutions or executive structure.
Hathi serves as managing director and is the authorized signatory for contracting entities including JKN Legacy Inc. and JKN Universe LLC, doing business as the Miss Universe Organization, according to the advisory.
Misra, the director of broadcast and sales, oversees broadcasting rights, sponsorship agreements, digital voting, host-country partnerships and commercial collaborations for the 75th Miss Universe Competition, MUO said.
The organization said its ownership and governance structure is based on an equal 50%-50% arrangement under shareholder agreements, operating agreements and board resolutions. It said both parties retain ownership rights and operational authority under those governing documents.
MUO instructed broadcasters, sponsors and national directors to disregard directives, notices or claims from unofficial websites and email domains. It said commercial matters, licensing inquiries and formal correspondence should be sent only through email addresses ending in @missuniverse.com.
In an earlier advisory dated Aug. 10, MUO said missuniverse.com is its only official website and should be used to verify leadership changes, corporate announcements, press releases and other organizational matters. It said social-media posts alone should not be considered confirmation of official organizational announcements.
The organization said it remains focused on producing the 75th Miss Universe Competition and supporting delegates, national directors, broadcasters and commercial partners around the world. It added that pageant calendars, global operations and international collaborations are continuing without interruption.
