Founded in 2019 by licensed esthetician Mayeth de Villa, Beauty Buffet NYC has built a loyal following for its blend of advanced skincare treatments and holistic beauty services. The new Aesthetica location at 61-04 39th Ave. in Woodside is designed as a larger, modern space aimed at elevating client experience while accommodating growing demand.
The expansion reflects the brand’s evolution from a single clinic into a multifaceted beauty destination offering services such as laser facials, microneedling, injectables, permanent makeup and hair care. Known for its clean, contemporary interiors and client-centered approach, the business positions itself as both a medical-grade skincare provider and a relaxing wellness space.
De Villa’s journey has been central to the brand’s identity.
Originally from Marinduque in the Philippines, she immigrated to the United States with limited resources and worked her way through school while caring for elderly patients as an occupational therapist. Her interest in aesthetics grew from witnessing how small beauty treatments could uplift confidence and emotional well-being.
With support from her husband, Sonny, Mayeth transitioned into the beauty industry, eventually founding Beauty Buffet NYC.
Today, she is regarded by clients as a trusted skin expert, and the business has expanded its offerings to include its own skincare line, Beauty Buffet Holistica.
