Sofronio Vasquez, the Season 26 winner of “The Voice,” is set to perform at Bally’s Atlantic City this month as part of the “VOIC3S” tour with Filipino singers Martin Nievera and Jed Madela.

Vasquez, who won the U.S. singing competition under coach Michael Bublé, has been touring in the United States and internationally while releasing new music and making live appearances. Since his victory, he has expanded his career to include studio collaborations and performances at large-scale events.

He has released original tracks and collaborations, including the single “Superman,” written by Bublé, and holiday songs with Bublé and David Foster. He has also worked in the studio with Bublé, Foster and Paul Anka. Onstage, Vasquez has performed at events including an NFL halftime show for a Kansas City Chiefs game and the Belmont Derby Invitational.

The “VOIC3S” tour features Vasquez, Nievera and Madela at venues including Bally’s Atlantic City and Pechanga Resort Casino in California. The tour brings together artists who have built followings in both the Philippines and abroad.

Nievera is widely known as the Philippines’ “Concert King” and has headlined shows in the United States and worldwide. Madela is recognized for his work in live concerts and televised performances. Their participation in the tour adds established OPM acts to the lineup.

The Atlantic City date is part of Vasquez’s ongoing U.S. engagements, which include stops in the Northeast and Southern California. The show adds to a recent pattern of Filipino and Asian performers appearing on casino and festival stages across major U.S. cities.

The concert also ties into Filipino recognition platforms in the United States.

Nievera, who received a TOFA (The Outstanding Filipino Awards) honor in 2020 for his contributions to entertainment during the pandemic, and Vasquez, who was named a TOFA honoree last year in Las Vegas but was unable to attend due to his ASAP tour commitments, now appear together on the same tour bill.
