International drag performer and television personality Manila Luzon received official recognition from the City of Los Angeles during Pride Month, underscoring her growing global influence and advocacy for LGBTQ+ visibility.

The “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum was honored for her continued contributions to queer representation, performance artistry and community engagement, as well as her role in promoting Filipino and Asian visibility on the international stage.

The recognition comes amid a series of high-profile milestones for Luzon, who recently completed a successful Asian tour that included sold-out performances in major cities such as Hong Kong. Her tour highlighted local queer talent while amplifying conversations around representation in the region.

Beyond the stage, Luzon continues to expand her creative and entrepreneurial portfolio. She recently launched “Diva Behavior,” an artisan fragrance developed in collaboration with OSM Perfume, alongside her “DRTÉ” fashion line. She also remains at the forefront of Filipino drag visibility as executive producer and “Drag Lord” of the streaming series “Drag Den.”

Luzon has also crossed into mainstream television, with appearances including Food Network’s “Worst Cooks in America,” further broadening her reach beyond the drag and LGBTQ+ community.

Her recognition in Los Angeles builds on a string of honors celebrating her impact. In 2025, Luzon was named among the TOFA100, The Outstanding Filipinos Awards’ list of the 100 Most Influential Filipinos in the World, during the organization’s 15th annual ceremony in Las Vegas.

Held at The Orleans Showroom and hosted by Boy Abunda, the milestone event gathered global Filipino leaders across industries to celebrate excellence and cultural pride. Luzon joined fellow honorees in recognizing the achievements of Filipinos making an impact worldwide.

As her career continues to evolve across performance, media and business, Luzon remains a leading voice in championing diversity, inclusion and Filipino representation on the global stage.
