The Miss Universe Organization has announced the official schedule for its 75th anniversary celebration, culminating in the global pageant final on Nov. 24 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan.
The milestone edition will bring together delegates from around the world for a week of events highlighting culture, leadership and global representation. Organizers said the anniversary celebration, dubbed a “Diamond Jubilee,” will feature three televised events leading up to the crowning of the next Miss Universe.
The festivities begin Nov. 21 with the National Costume Show, where contestants will present elaborate designs inspired by their countries’ traditions and heritage. The preliminary competition follows on Nov. 22, during which delegates will compete in evening gown and swimwear categories before a selection committee to determine the finalists.
The competition concludes with the live final on Nov. 24, when a new Miss Universe will be crowned before a global audience.
“Celebrating 75 years of Miss Universe is not only about honoring our history, but also the extraordinary women who have inspired generations through confidence, purpose, leadership and service,” said Ronald Day, CEO of the Miss Universe Organization. He added that this year’s event will combine innovation, entertainment and global representation to showcase the pageant’s evolving impact.
The anniversary celebration is being held in partnership with the government of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. Officials say hosting the international event is expected to boost tourism and showcase the island’s culture and hospitality to a worldwide audience.
“This announcement marks the beginning of a historic celebration for Puerto Rico,” said Willianette Robles Cancel, executive director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. “Our island will serve as a global stage where beauty, culture and female leadership are celebrated, while highlighting the richness of our destination.”
In addition to the main televised events, organizers plan to hold a series of activities throughout the competition period, including cultural experiences, community initiatives, media engagements and partner activations across the island.
Ticket details for the three main events have not yet been released. Organizers said additional information, including performers, hosts and special guests, will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Miss Universe Organization describes itself as a global platform focused on empowering women through leadership, advocacy and cultural exchange, with year-round initiatives aimed at promoting social impact.
